Job Description - SharePoint Architect
This individual will provide technical leadership in the area of architecture and design for business solutions that leverage Microsoft technologies including Microsoft Office SharePoint Server.

Responsibilities
- Architecture and design of deployment of the Microsoft collaboration technology stack, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS), Microsoft Windows Server 2008, and Microsoft Live Meeting, Microsoft Office Communications Server, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Develop logical and physical data models and/or other types of designs for business problems that require automated solutions The ideal person will initiate communication with other lead technical staff as needed to facilitate the most effective and efficient solutions. This person will serve as a technical mentor to less experienced technical staff. Provides day-to-day technical direction relative to the technical aspects of a project or support function
Qualifications
The Architect will have experience in designing, architecting, overseeing and guiding development, testing and implementation of solutions to business and technical problems within defined scope and budget. Formal training and advanced certification from Microsoft preferred.
Technical Requirements
Must have experience in architecture, design, and deployment of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS). Must have expert level skills in other related technologies including:
- .NET Framework
- C#
- IIS
- Active Directory
- SQL Server
Terms
Pay rate: Negotiable
Location: Minneapolis. Local travel required.
